This Delta Heat infrared sear burner has a stainless housing and it does require a protective mesh screen which is sold separately (part # S13367). The protective mesh screen helps to protect the ceramic burner itself.
- It is a standard burner on the RS models.

- Optional on 32R & 38R models which replace the burner on the left side of your grill
- The nut that secures this sear zone is not included
